How it started…

Hawkeye Custom Concrete was formed in 2003 in Sand Springs, OK. During the early years the company manufactured concrete countertops while maintaining retaining their day jobs. All countertops, vessel sinks, and custom designs took place in a small one car detached garage. Over the years, the market for countertops shifted and the owners began looking for another product line. The transition to flooring – Concrete overlay and Epoxy was just beginning to become popular, and the new direction was determined. Hawkeye began installing custom flooring in 2010 and has been the premier installer in the Tulsa market for the past several years.

Hawkeye Today…

In December 2021,Hawkeye was acquired by Thermal Specialties, LLC . Thermal’s owner – Mitch Myers – operates several diverse companies including a General Contractor (Commercial & Residential) – Renovation & Construction Services, LLC , a HVAC company – Quick Temp Heat & Air,  and an interior design firm Upside Interiors. Thermal’s core business is Industrial – Commercial Heat Treating, Industrial Insulation, and Industrial Furnace Construction and Maintenance. In June 2022, Hawkeye purchased assets of Architectural Concrete Technologies an admired and long-standing local company that specialized in Concrete Polishing, Restoration, Overlays, and Epoxy. The acquisition positions Hawkeye to perform large scale projects in the areas of Epoxy, Polished Concrete, and Decorative Concrete. Hawkeye’s staff of estimators, project managers, engineers, and interior design specialists provide customers thorough oversight of a project from design to install.
